Andrea C. Johnson is a nationally recognized K–12 education leader, professional mediator, executive coach, and community strategist with 18 years of progressive leadership experience across public education, nonprofit engagement, and business development. As the founder and principal consultant of Legacy Leadership and a  Mediator (Basic Mediation & Family Mediation), Andrea supports both individuals and organizations in navigating two complex but connected worlds conflict resolution and leadership transformation.

Through her mediation practice, Andrea can provide both court-appointed and self-elected mediation services, specializing in family and divorce mediation, co-parenting agreements, and workplace or organizational dispute resolution. Her mediation approach is grounded in clarity, neutrality, and dignity ,helping clients move from conflict to forward progress.

As a consultant and executive coach, Andrea partners with school systems, leaders, and organizations to drive transformational results in student achievement, instructional effectiveness, and educational equity. She is widely known for her ability to rapidly improve struggling campuses and build sustainable systems that elevate student performance and staff capacity. Her signature framework—rooted in data-driven decision-making, high-impact coaching, and culturally responsive leadership—has produced outcomes such as a 99th percentile growth ranking on NWEA MAP assessments and double-digit gains in reading and math campuswide.

Andrea is a scholar practitioner with an MBA, a Master’s in Education. She also earned a certificate in Advanced Educational Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Andrea is the author of Thriving, Not Just Surviving: Practical Advice for School Administrators and a contributor to TEPSA News. Her leadership and community impact have been recognized by the City of Fort Worth, the Texas Association of Black School Educators, the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals, and Prairie View A&M University.
